Mapanda Community Development
Maranda Community Project, Malawi – 2026
The Ronella Group has been commissioned to design and implement a new project in Malawi by Kamkom Technologies. Mr Soustain Chigalu has been the leader of this new project as he spent time in this area as a youngster.

This area is known locally as the Zomba area, there are four small villages, Mapanda which has around 300 homes, Mbamba of 250 homes, Chimimba 150 homes and Mkwapatira 100 homes in total around 5,000 people.
The project is split into three pillars:

Community Social Services
This will cover a sustainable energy and clean water supplies. It will also make provision for a two-room school and a Health Clinic.
​Economic Empowerment
Provision of, Farming Irrigation, and the farming of; Fish, dairy cattle, poultry, pigs and most importantly the cold storge of foods.
​Environmental Sustainability
Designs will be focus on incorporating Land Management, Organic fertilisation, forestry and water management.
